It started with a question.
At our practice, Arbor Eyecare, Joel serves dual roles as a remote scribe and back-office coordinator for Dr. Rebecca Dale. When she asked about adding more scribing hours, Joel said he couldn't.
"Why not?"
"I'm spending 2 to 3 hours every day just processing faxes."
Two to three hours. Every day. A skilled person reading faxes, figuring out what they mean, doing data entry. That time was blocking an entire half-day of patient care.
So we went down the rabbit hole. We mapped every fax type, every action it triggers, every decision someone needs to make. And we built something to handle it.
